Cheeseman Park is considered one of Denver's historical nostalgic home neighborhoods. Originally named Congress Park in honor of the U.S. Congress, it was renamed in 1907. Denver's city's nursery area was then named Congress Park. This neighborhood has a good number of galleries, several top-notch theaters and the Denver Botanic Gardens.
